sir, you said that jesus christ died. i would like to tell you that Guru Nanak didn't died people { hindus& muslims } were unable to trace Guru Nanak's dead body so nor could they bury him neither cremated him. Same thing happened to our fifth and tenth guru, their bodies are not found yet{ you can do your search}.Reagarding miracles in Guru Nanak's home, miracles are not allowed unnecessarily but there are loads and loads. Regarding SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB JI sikh do not worship book.As you said nobody can have relation with a book absolutely right BUT SIKHS are having a relation with the word written in guru granth sahib{ these word could be written anywhere because these are the true word coming straightaway from the GOD which in itself is a WORD. Nowadays Americans are converting to SIKHISM and you are wasting your time in christianity. READ SIKH SCRIPTURES PROPERLY AND UPDATE YOUR KNOWLEDGE IF YOU WANT TO READ SRI GURU GRANTH SAHIB I CAN GIVE YOU THE WEBSITE. WWWW.SIKHNET.COM.
ANY QUERIES JUST MAIL ME.

I read the comment by Daljit and I am shocked to see that it was removed. Why? He was speaking the truth and very kindly- he didn't say a single bad word against ur religion. I guess u cant handle the truth and dont want others to see it. Sikhism is a religion that teaches one to love and serve all and to fight for truth by all means pssible. Christians force others to change their religion.

Sir
What Daljit said is truth and in sikhism its not allowed to show miracles. But he taught people as people like you and me wont have faith without miracles. Why should we respect, and have faith on others, as we have taken seat of judging humans and religion from God . Isnt it?
But let me start giving you two examples though there are thousand to proove.
1) Guru Nanak body was lying and people started fighting that as nanak was sufi, and so he was muslim, we will bury him but others said no, nanak was born to hindu family, we will cremated him according to hindu religion. Nanak body got disappeared and two clothes were left, Of which one was buried and one was cremated according to hinduism. He prooved he belong to no religion but he respected all.
2) He was in mecca and was tired, and he fell sleep, but knowingly he put his feet towards mecca. Someone went to head priest and complaint about this that one traveller is having his feet towards mecca. Priest got angry and went to him to punish him. He asked nanak to move his feet. Nanak said he is very tired and requested him to move his feet in direction where there is no mecca. History says priest got the lesson and realised that god is every where but sir fact is this no one like me or u will believe on any stranger without miracles nor will realise about god presence in every corner unless some miracle happens. Fact is this priest saw mecca in direction where his feet was moved.
Sir every religion is same nor will god dicriminate on basis of religion so please start respecting other religion. I know only way to god is through holy people whether it be jesus or guru nanak or mohamad prophet.
Religions are religion till the time there is love in it as soon as hatred comes it is not religion. Usually when we are in process of learning we believe in logics according to our understanding and knowledge which are always less as a man can never be perfect. So please stop this for god sake otherwise u wont be pardoned by him.
thanx n regards
iqbal

Well the beginning of the video starts off pretty well but at around 5:15, the lack of research shows. Geronami seems to be under the false impression that Sri Guru Gobind Singh ordained the Adi Granth Sahib as Guru of the Sikhs, because all his sons were murdered. This man believes that Guruship is passed on, based purely on family ties, and while some of them were related to each other, that does not mean it applied to all of them.

But then, at 6:50, he says that Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji merely took beliefs from other religions to form his own, and that if we look closely, Sikhism is a syncretic mixture of Hinduism and Islam. Then he adds a very stupid comment... He quotes, '...the monotheism in Sikhism, where does it come from ? It came from Islam. The rule against Idol worship, it came from Islam too. And the other elements in Sikhism like reincarnation or karma or illusion (yes not the illusion) of Maya. At the roots it is a mixture, a syncretic mixture of Islam and Hinduism'.
Now Mr Geronami, that comment about Sikhism taking monotheism from Islam, using that logic, someone could say that your religion, Christianity has copied its philosophy from Judaism . After all it believes in the creation theory present in the Torah, it believes in all the stories of the Old Testament (in other words the Torah), believes in Moses, Abraham and the Commandments of Judaism doesn't it? But it isn't a sect because while it shares similarities with Judaism, it has entirely unique beliefs of its own. And again, rules against idol worship are present in many religions, not just Islam.
Now as for that idea about reincarnation being taken from Hinduism, if you read my post 'Sikhism is not a synthesis of Hinduism or Islam, and neither is it a Hindu sect', you will find a paragraph explaining the Sikh version of rebirth. As for karma and maya being taken from Hinduism, I think if you research a little more on maya, you'll find that the obstacles a Hindu has to evade are different from those a Sikh has to evade, for example one of the 5 great evils in Sikhism is 'kama' or lust. But in Hinduism, Kama is one of the goals in life.

Please Mr Geronami, can you at least bother to research other religions thoroughly before you make such bold statements.
